Re: Lidl Crivit Fishing Sets
Lidl is an odd one- when I started sea fishing a few yeas ago I got gear in Lidl to get me going. I can report:
-Do not use the line for anything other than backing- it is awful
-The hooks are actually grand for small species- I have caught plenty on their size 4 hooks
-The telescopic beach rods are rubbish- will fall apart after a few months
-The reel that came with that rod I still have is actually not too bad- I have caught plenty of mackerel off piers with it, dogfish, flounder. It won't do anything heavy but will serve you the finest on clean ground. Has had plenty of SW on it, not been rinsed for a few days, no ill effects
