So guys i know you dont give away marks on this place which is fair enough but im looking for some guidance even by pm
I Have caught both before and my best was bulll huss up in galway of over 12lbs but i have recently acquired a new fishing partner who has caught neither and is looking to catch them. We are based around dungarven so are willing to travel anywhere from waterford city to cork city.
so basically im looking for a general area unless people are willing to help out a little bit more

Re: Bullhuss & Congers waterford /cork area
Hi Eddy
You don't need to travel that far... albeit they may not be very big?
Either side of Dungarvan harbour, you have Helvick head on one side with loads of strap congers and some bigger uns in the harbour (you'll have to feed off ther small ones) and casting out onto sand for variety.
On the other side of Dungarvan bay, drive past the Gold Coast golf course. Keep it to the right of you and you will drive down to a small beach. Directly out in front and to the left there is rough ground and it has thrown up bull huss, typically at night. Also caught a small bass there too once upon a time, so you never know...
Hope this helps...
