Looks like the weather is finally settling down. Good tides this weekend too- time to hit the beach . . .

No need to wait for the weekend, get out now - a brace of cod from an East Cork beach earlier in the week.

Pat - fair play. A combination of having to go back to the gym (euugh) and trauma from being back at work put paid to any fishing so far this week !

Like Pat says the fish have been around just a bit awkward to get to them at times especially with the flooding.

I managed to pick up those two cod, both about 45cms, during the respite from the storms earlier in the week. The water was extremely coloured, which probably explains why I picked them during daylight hours. Also, picked up a good coalie at 35cm.
