Bait: deep spun jelly worms

Rigs: running ledger

Results:12 pollack, 3 between 5-6lb, 8 between 3-4lb and 1 of 2lb


Report:a crackin days fishing at one stage we were getting a fish a cast at depths up to 100ft most fish coming on black worms with a red tail , got hit by a few bigger fish tht got into the kelp and we lost them packed up with the intentions of fishing the ledges on the way home until 1.00am but ater that dander we were both f****d and decided to get a chinkers and a few beers i;m sure drew would back me up about the walk to this mark its like an army assault course
called into the ledges and met liam and gg on the way home

how far along from say the end of the path do you fish?

i usually try a spot about 5 mins from the end of the path had good fish up to about 5lb

Pity you were too tired to fish the ledges - there were a fair few fish about too.

you can fish from the end of the trail and i have fished on round about another 10 mins walk or 400yds over the boulders but at a certain spot there is a deep hole which holds bigger fish on that day i lost one about 8lb i saw it just under the surface before it got off.
jude i only kept 4 fish that had blown their swim bladders or were deep hooked and wouldn;t have gone back.
