What a night fishing in arklow first cast small smooth hound and from there on it didn't stop more smooth hounds had not got time to sit down for a smoke . Then the rod took a big hit got the line in and over the moon wit what I saw it was my first ray within about 3 min my mate was on to one as well then we were back on to the smooth hounds so about 2.30 we were off again wit more ray what a night

Nice fishing lads bita common sence tough when it comes to holding ray you wouldn't hold your dog up by the tail for a photo ? its not good for the fish instead hold them by each side of the snout. With ray being sush a rare catch on the east every little helps
