Bull Huss West Cork

#1 Post by Ben »

Despite 20 years of angling I have never caught a Bull huss. I usually fishing around Cork harbour. I was thinking of heading to west cork or the beara peninsula for them. I was just would anyone be able to advise me where to go. No need for precise marks, just general stretches of the coast. Thanks.

Off hand, the airport strip at Bantry would be a good starting point. Best fished on the slacker tides.
Some thornback ray there also.

Have you caught then there before? Is there any area in the cove that is easily accessible and suitable for fishing?
