Moult

#1 Post by martin435 »

With the current weather patterns when would people think we should see the first last scale moult of crab up around Dublin. I was thinking of starting to try and collect early next month but as there is still mornings with frost on the ground im thinking it will still be a bit cold for them to start. Can anyone help me with some info on this.

Thanks

Martin

You wont really know until you give it a try Martin, I have heard mixed reports down Waterford way, I tried myself last weekend and only managed six, three of which were a fair bit off peeling.
