i tied a loop on the main line and tied a snood of this loop and i used a 3/0 hook
Results: cod and flounder
Report:
flounders went for the mackerel they werent too big. The cod were going for the lugworm. I had cod every cast up to high tide and the biggest one was about 3 pound ... Most of the cod were big enough to keep but ther was holes in some of them .... Some of th casts i reeled in andthere was no bait on the hooks so there must have been something small picking at the bait

was fishing carpets sat night caught 4 around 3lb and load of smaller cod and whiting all on lug fished from 9ish pm till 2am
