Too early for hounds?

#1 Post by Bradley »

Hey guys taking a trip to Wicklow with the misses at the weekend and will be sticking a rod in the car :) just wondering if it's too early for hounds? Never fished much up that way as I'm based in cork any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

The first of the hen crab peel about mid May is usually worth a try, otherwise the best chance at the moment is a visit to Shelburne Park

The earliest I've seen them landed was April 19th a couple of years ago in Dublin.
