Does anyone know when it is a suitable time to target sea trout in estuaries around cork?

Have the license. I usually use the fly further up rivers but was wondering is there a chance of getting earlier trout further out towards the sea

Every chance. But at this time of year you'll be hitting spent/mending fish that are voracious enough to take anything and don't give much sport. April/May is time enough really to target them in the salt.
