Donaghadee Pier 06.06.06

People: Myself, Drew

Duration: 6:30pm - 10pm

Tide: High @7:30pm

Weather: Gorgeous and calm

Bait: Mackeral

Rigs: 2 hook flappers

Results: 1 Coalfish, Drew had about 4 and a Pollack or 2


Report:

What a gorgeous night, weather wise! Superb! some photos to add soon provided they turned out ok, unfortunately none of the fish though..
:cry: It was generally quite slow fishing but no dangling tonight and i christened my sandstorm with a nice wee Coalie of about 9oz. Drew had more luck, generally casting traces off the back of the pier, i believe he actually hooked one in the mouth :P :D

Yep, a bit tedius but i guess we can't complain given the weather and the fact we fish into the entrance of the harbour! :lol:

You'll just have to believe i caught one! :lol: Was gonna take a picture of the rest but that never materialised ffs! Aw well... getting some confidence back and a first fish on my new beachcaster.
