Dublin Garfish

Right lads I would love to get a garfish for my species hunt and have no idea where to get them . Can anyone help me out please ? Preferably a mark around Dublin , feel free to drop me a pm , thanks

I haven't seen a garfish in years, they use to be very common around Dunlaoghaire ..but I haven't hear of any been caught in the last few years.

The end of the South wall in Dublin is probably your best bet, but even then I'd say the chances are slim.

Wickla harbour is normally full of gars

List 2010. fish

List 2011: less fish

2012: less fish again,

2013: even less fish.
