A friend of mine is eager to try his hand at the shore angling but I haven't a clue about that area. There are surely bass spots but I'd be more interested if someone could point me in the direction of a beach where there might be a couple of different species on offer to whet his appetite. Any info greatly received. At least if he manages to catch a couple of fish he might keep the interest up. Cheers. Dave

There's bunmahon, annestown and ballydawan all within 10 minutes of killmac.
Best to fish these beaches after dark.
You will get bass, doggies and flounder on them all.
