Multiplier Reel - ABU Ambassadeur C3 CT Pro

Hi all,

I recently inherited this reel:

My issue is that I cant seem to find the "Take alarm", you know the amazing buzzing sound when something slams home on the other end of the line :) . I had planned on going to Loop Head Co. Clare tomorrow to try it out for a bit of free lining. Now my issue is I have no form of bite indication from the reel. I'd appreciate any form of feedback.

That reel doesn't have a bit indicator , it's more of a beach /clean ground reel .
Give a man a fire he will be warm for a night,

:( :( :( thought as much Paul, just needed someone to point out the obvious to me i guess. I assume that there is no way that one can be fitted??????
