Congers dublin

#1 Post by ark rose glenn »

Heya lads I'm looking to head out in search of a conger but I'm not really sure on where to fish for them. Iv heard dunlaughaire and howth can throw up the odd one but I'm not sure we're to fish in either one of the harbours. .. Any help would be most approximated and I know most people won't put the marks up on the forum so any pm's are much appreciated . I tried all last year and never got a tap ...I got a baby strap one off greystones on a mackerel strip when fishing for pollock.... Would like to get one this year. Thanks in advance

Had a strap 4-6 pounder off the rocks near the park beside Coliemore and the brother in law lost a similar sized one. Both went for squid. Would imagine they're still there.
