mullet help

hi lads going to try for a mullet saturday , never got one ! just wondering what set up ? light flourocarbon ? what size hooks ? float fish or just small split shot ? thanks ! pms welcome

I use a size 10 kamazan grubber. Snood 5lb fluorocarbon. Mainline 10lb braid. 15 foot match rod. Grayling floats. They will take of the surface or sink it if they are deeper with a small shot.
why does yer last cast always take an hour?
