Crab traps

Hi all went out to get crab the other day some people only think of them self's had done some of the traps but did not reset them this pisses me off

Sometimes people gathering winkles and cockles tip the blocks over and don't put em back.

I take it by traps you mean cavity blocks, tyres, flat rocks, plastic pipes etc,
I always turn the rocks back over and refill holes when digging/collecting, it's back breaking but by preserving the weed on the rock and covering the small crab underneath it gives the weed a chance to grow supply cover for crab, helping future stock and yes it is very annoying when you come across a patch of ground with rocks and weed flung everywhere.

went out to do my traps last night and found most of cavity blocks were either on their side or upside down what sort of wakenrs does this im not gonna get into the debate of who owns what but hey whats all this about

stern kick in the arse they need fisherman, I have started to set traps myself, so far they have been replaced after being raided, but thats the luck of leaving them there on an open coastline, drives ye mad though
