Poetica

#1 Post by basshunter10 »

Well lads, was in swords angling centre today and had a feel of the Poetica. Lovely rod, I have a couple of rods and the one closest to it would be a daiwa grand wave. The grand wave casts best with 5-6 ounces and isn't great for lighter leads or flicking maddies. The rod isn't finished nearly aswel and is a lot heavier than the trabucco. Can anyone let me know what the Poetica is like casting wise?

Poetica is a fantastic rod excellent finish and can flick maddies all day as well as send a trace to the horizon with light line, they are thin on the ground now but well worth the money in my opinion

Cheers Keith, very impressed with it. The tip is nearly like a 3-5oz tip on other rods but it feels perfect in the hand. There was an AFAW rod beside it and the Poetica is just a fair more appealing piece of kit. Couldn't tell you that Ste or me hard work will be undone [WINKING FACE].Thanks John, I'll be buying one before I cast one, hate casting a rod that's not mine, if I had a bigger bank balance I probably wouldn't.
