unusual fish ...

washed up on local waterford beach today .about 8lbs in weight 18inches long

reckon its a lumpsucker ...what do ye think

Seen a few washed up over here following the Christmas storms but that's a fair specimen........

Yeh thats a nice lumpsucker alright Iano. Im from Tramore myself. All kinds washed up there lately, found a 70cm red band fish washed up in Tramore myself a few weeks back.

All sorts of fish being washed up in the storms ..... fish that we didnt even know existed

Saw one just like it washed up on an east cork beach this time last year.. About the same size too..

Found one washed up on killiney a few years ago but not the size of that.
