lacken gentlemans agreement

hi all

is the 1st of Dec to March 1st ban on angling in lacken an agreement between clubs or is there some county bye law etc.

i think its like the rag beds ,if you have an ounce of common sense and want our fishing to keep going you respect it ,if your a tosser that doesnt give a monkeys you dont :|

Lacken aka the Lough in South Wexford - outlet to sea is at Cullenstown. It was an agreement by local clubs that members wouldn't fish the Lough at this time. No legal basis, but generally observed by the local anglers. :)
