Donegal bay pier

#1 Post by alancooper »

People:Just me out for fresh air between storms

Duration:2 hours - 5-7pm

Tide:High spring

Weather:Not so windy but showery

Bait:Mack

Rigs:Slow spinning with baited feathers

Results:A supper-sized pollock (chips and peas later at home) and a dozen small coalies (returned)

Report: Managed to squeeze in a short session between storms - enough to remind me how cold it gets with a bit of wind and wetness. Surprised to get the pollack so late in the season.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC
