River suir waterford 28/12/13

People:me.

Weather: sunny and cold

Rigs: two hook flapper

Bait:Lug and squid

Results: 3 flounder and a 2lb sea trout (my first)

Report:Headed out for a session on the river in the morning.First cast flounder next cast flounder then went quiet for a while,next thing the rod was rattling out of the stand.Picked it up and lifted into a hard fighting sea trout.Beauty and my first ever!Went quiet until slack high tide I got a third flounder.Happy days!!!

Also spotted an otter!!

Well done getting a Sea Trout. They must be moving up now that the rivers are in flood.
