ferrybank co waterford

I was thinking of trying the ferrybank area soon. Has anybody any ideas on what i might catch and what tackle works best ? Has anybody fished the area recently and is it like a river bank that you fish on ?

If your fishing that area go up the estry and fish duncannon pier at night on an in coming tide on a half moon in the winter with ragworm,lugworm and squid one of the best spots by far I have ever
fished.

on the ebb, with crab on pulley rigs
Always CAR! unless its a pollock...!

2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.
Would do anything for a bass!
