Ragworm

#1 Post by Deleted User 3488 »

Just a quick question lads.
Is it still possible to use ragworm this time of year?
I notice from some reports that some anglers are using shop bought Rag, but I was told it's not the done thing this time of year.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

its not but as you no some people dont give 2 fcuks when there is a profit to be made digging rag from the end of october to the middle/end of march is a no,no but its not a law and some people do it anyway during them times rag will be breeding and spawing so should be left alone so there will be a good supply when it comes to the warmer months

That's what I thought.
Have seen some people still digging locally.
Either no brains or conscience, or a combo of both.
