Tramore strand

#1 Post by lad123 »

I have planned a trip to tramore strand for next week.
What species should i target when i go down ?
what bait should i buy ?
what rigs are best ?
What winds directions give a good surf and what wind directions throw up weed ?
Are there any ghotspots on the beach ?
What tides fish best ?
Thanks a million , all help is highly appreciated.

You'll get codling, coalies, whiting and flounder.
use lug, crab, squid
I'd use clipped down rigs
Moderate southerly or south westerly winds, no point fishing if its to ruff,
Try the top of the car park (monkeys pole),
I find fishing there over low water best, but still good over high water
