Cod in Dún Laoghaire-West Pier???

Hi Guys,I'm new to this hobby and really loving it...went to West Pier last month and caught some Mackerels...as the season is ending I'm thinking of trying the cod if there is any there???Is it worth it coming there at night?Many thanks in advance.

Iam not sure if they are around up there but ther are cod showing up down the south

i spent a huge amount of time fishing the piers in my youth and i used to get plenty of codling and nice whiting from all along the back of the east pier :wink:
