Hey lads just a quick post a couple of us were thinkin of hittin youghal for a few hrs this sat,I no it's a bit early for the cod but we are hoping for a few coalies, flaties etc.we don't want to head down if we're going to be pi##ing against the wind so any info on the weather (rain fall) and fishing would be great thanks

Fished the front beach in youghal yesterday and it was full of weed.

Did ye ave much rain down that way it's been dry in Kildare except for monday

codling up to 4lb caught in the harbour the last few days i fished youghal beach tonight loads of weed for the first hour then the weed passed and the dogs came on the feed if ya cant fish the beach you could chance the harbour for cod once its dark. tides are slack for the weekend so the weed might not be much of an issue
