lads, is there a summary of species of fish for the time of year?

Like smoothhound-summer
mackerel- june to septmeber....


Any adice would be great lads.
just looking to see what i can target in different months.

there are tables all over the internet. some vary slightly but most should give a good idea
different locations around our coast will vary to some degree also

winter is pretty much codling, whiting, rocking and a spot of bass fishing up along our way (north coast) from the shore
good luck. dont let the winter stop ye! :)

Each stretch of coast line will differ like Wexford tope fishing is done during the summer months were as Wicklow tope are fished for during the autum and winter months. Your better of fishing all the sessions at your local marks
