options for 15-16ft rod

#1 Post by saving private brian »

hi all

im just beefing up on the gear this year,,upgrading from my older stuff,,picked up a 14ft multiplier tf gear delta bachcaster along with a slosh 30 reel in which im am very pleased about last week

im not the fondest of 3 section rods but I am willing to change should I receive the right one

im looking for a 15-16ft rod,,the rod I intend to use it obviously for distance over clean to mixed and very rough ground marks

the rod must have its fair share of stiffness to pull out of them snags, but also a little leeway in its tip to get a good casting arc and aswell to show good bite indication

a sliding reel seat is required as I intend to marry it with a multipier

is this rod a reality or are I looking for too much

Hes looking for a 15/16ft rod for multiplier.
That excalibur is under 14ft and designed for fixed spool, plus its about €550.
