Greystones

#1 Post by Nicholas6850 »

Hi all me and the bro thinking of hitting Greystones end of this month/start of next month. Just wondered if anyone could recommend somewhere cheap and cheerful to stay for a night or two.
Any advise for this area would be greatly appreciated

Yea don't go to Greystones would be way cheaper, we hit it hard last night one and only got one decent bite! And tonnes of weed!

I'd agree with the lads,,,,,,,travel a bit further south ,,,another 40 mins would bring you to some of the South Wicklow/North Wexford beaches,,,Ennereilly,,,Kilgorman,,,Ballymoney,,,Dodds Rocks and the beaches near Courtown to name a few for a chance of Bass and you can even camp near the beach (choose your spot carefully mind you  ). Greystones would be a fall back place for me when i've no diesel money or just feeling a bit lazy,,,,although it can throw up the odd good fish. Check nearer the time and the lads here will tell you how these beaches are fishing

I agree with the above comments plus it hasn't fished well this year, apart from the odd fish it's been very poor
