With winter on the way, I've decided that this year I'll give it a go during it. I usually stop fishing between October and February, as I didn't have the clothes for it, but I have now so I'll give it a go!..
Usually when I'm bait fishing, I have my two rods out and spin with a third, so my question is....
Is it worth spinning during the winter?...and is there much to catch on a spinner or even feathers??
Cheers (I know it's two questions!!:) )
Winter spinning....?

I agree with bassboy - lrf tactics mean you can target small pollock and whiting from harbours in winter. I've picked up a few codling as well with the lrf rod this summer which hopefully is a good omen for winter. Herring are great sport too on light tackle.
