new to the Wexford area

#1 Post by tommy legs »

Hello...Just moved to Duncormick area. Away with work for another couple of weeks but hoping to get a bit of fishing in after I get back. I did have a few quick goes round cullenstown with the lure and managed to get a bass but really wanting to get the beach gear out. I was told about somewhere called the Hole, I think its just west side of Kilmore Quay? It would be handy if someone could point me in the direction of a couple of marks to try, instead of me running about blind. It looked like weed could be a major problem round the general area and if someone could give me some advice about where/conditions to avoid that would be much appreciated. Any info about tackle etc would be grand. I'm not a beginner but coming to a completely different area is like starting over again...Cheers

The hole is 150m up from the car park. It could have moved after the storms in spring.
The lack of waves might give you something to home in on.
