Bait picking Galway

#1 Post by kinderbeano »

Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for some good spots for finding bait(peeler crab, lug, rag etc.) between salt hill and nimos pier. Was thinking the claddagh/ mutton island area might be worth a try...thanks for any help.

Try sliverstrand for lug, climbe over the walll at the toilets and walk along the track and than pick any spot.

You'll get lug on grattan beach half way down to the right, and also behind the golf driving range by the spinnaker
