Any reccomemdations for good warm waterproof 2 piece suit

#1 Post by patk »

Im thinking of buying a flotation suit. The last few winters in order to keep warm I have somany layers on that can hardlt tie my jacket! So priority is warmth waterproof and comfort. There seems to be so many advertised all around the same price around or under 100 stg. Any advise?

Fisheagle...I got one...comfortable to wear and decent price!..make sure u try it on before buying.. Sizes vary a lot and u should make sure u can freely move your arms.

The fisheagle suit is really warm and dry and is ideal for winter, my buddy had it on a beach in -5c and didn't even notice the cold!
sure, its not raining between the showers!

What size are you looking for? I have a brand new survival suit here, it's the overall style inflatable suit with whistle, reflectors etc. orange and silver in colour, the size is XXL. Reinforced sitting and working areas, adjustable straps, completely waterproof protected seams and pockets. Was never worn, surplus to requirements and still in the original wrapping. 130 Euro + postage is fine with me if this suits your needs? You can even try it before you buy it whenever you are in the area to make sure it fits, just drop me a line.

I have a Gill WAFI two piece, basically its like oil skins and jacket except its gortex and all that, not quite a survival suit but i just wear a t-shirt and sweat pants under it in the worst of weather super warm! wouldn't rely on it to float though
A bad days fishing is still better then a good day at the office.

Sundridge Sas Mk7, you might even pick up a Mk6 somewhere slightly cheaper, highly recommended.

I have a fladen for years and it's great even in freezing wet weather. Mine is a one piece though as I find that you still get a draft on your back with the two pieces.

Had the IMAX 2 piece for years, about 5 before it bit the dust. Now use the greys Apollo bottoms(first edition) and a sundridge sas mark 7.
