Waterford help
Well lads I have really gotten hooked on shore fishing.I have 17 species so far this year but I am aiming at 20.I have fished boat strand, dunmore east with sucess but saleens and passage have produced 0 fish everytime I have went.I was wondering of anyone knew any really good marks that are safe and I am willing to fish any tactic.I dont have any specific species but if I had to name fish I would like I would pick coalies, conger or wrasse. Was thinking hook head as trip isnt too long for me because I live in waterford but is hook head worth the trip?Help appreciated

Well said the brow.
It's all timing and right gear right moment.
Often went out caught nothing with loads of gear with me.
Other times basic gear bags of fish.

Re: Waterford help
Down in passage is good on the first of flood, head to the woodstown side of the beach at low tide walk 500mts unroll you reach the concrete pipe head twenty yards pick a place away from the rocks fish the incoming tide, you will need good drag weights as on strong tides there is strong currents. rag works best /Big tides... Keep an eye On the tide as you can get cut Off. Look at the line of weed for the last tide hight
