Cork rock fishing

#1 Post by blueigloo »

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any rock marks that are fairly easily accessible in the cork harbour to east cork area. I have looked at the shore marks guide and picked out knockadoon head and ballycroneen/ballyandreen, but any other suggestions would be very welcome (including PMs) Looking to catch some Pollack/wrasse on soft plastic lures.

Also anybody know how exactly to get to the fishing mark on knockadoon head? do I cross the head from the pier, or do I need to turn off higher up on the road?

Thanks

There seems to be a pathway down by the tower.
The winds are from the northwest on Saturday so it should be a bit calm there
