Fish Id required

I caught this little guy lrf fishing. For the size of him he put up a good scrap. Not sure what it is. I thought it might be a dragonet?

dragonet has a slimmer body, sharper "nose" and a poisonous spine in its dorsal fin...

there are a few species of gurnard in our waters but only grey gurnard have that distinguishing dark spot on the dorsal fin ;)

Good to know about the poisonous spine :!: wouldn't want the young fella to pick it up as he's usually with me.
