People:Me

Duration:17:30-21:45

Tide:before and up until high tide.

Weather:Intermittent showers and Gales.

Bait:Peeler, Mac and Spinners

Rigs:1up 1down.

Results:1 conger and 1 pollock

Report:The gales(I hate the wind)made it very difficult, rods blowing around, hard to tell if they were bites or what. Caught small conger on crab tipped with mac, caught 1 pollock 1.5lb on spinner and lost another two with a few takes that came off immediatley.

I had actually went to flyfish for salmon on the Glen, but again the wind.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Fished at SJP tonight from high tide down for three hours. Spinning produced two pollock, one @ 2.5 lbs and one @ 5 lbs. Big mackeral shoals passed by but simply ignored lures. Huge shoals of midges too! Pity they didn't ignore me!
