Co. Clare beach marks (for youngster)

#1 Post by cmac »

I'd like to take my 5 year old fishing this season (he's a little on the young side to enjoy a days fly fishing for trout).
Co. Clare is our stomping ground, and given the amount of energy bundled up in this lad I'm keen to keep it to beaches for the moment. I'm not even sure I could keep him "on" a pier and fish at the same time  Lahinch is our nearest beach so anything in that region would be great.
As a fisherman myself, I know what I'm asking  I'm not looking for the family silver here, just a nod to one or two locations where we stand a good chance to reeling in some fish (preferably feathering/spinning for mac and perhaps then some bait fishing for bit!!!) PMs would be gratefully received.
Thanks.
