Got a few today at Bray, very large bigger than normal.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at the office!

Same distance casting, same spot...different results.
Where were you and at what stage of the tide?

I love doing the bit of float fishing myself nice and relaxing until twelve feathers and a four ounce whiz past your ear, everyone used to float at skerries until the bashers ruined it

It's Ironic, everyone complains that they can't get a spot 'cause of all the bashers

Serious amounts of good size mackerel at Ballycotton pier yesterday evening. They arrived about three hours before high tide. Was glad I got there in good time about forty mins after I arrived the place was packed. There was a cottage industry going on the husbands were catching the fish and the wives were de-hooking and packing away.

Reckless stuff going on I saw one woman doing an off the ground cast on a crowded pier FFS!!

Also caught what I think was a greater sandeel aka launce- am I right?
