herring ?
Caught this while spinning for mac's last night in cobh, thought it was a herring but looking again at the pic not sure, didnt think the tail was so forked on them.

Does t it have a sharp edge along the lateral line??

We got a few of them over the past few days...the dorsal fin would remind you of a bass!..
