diy lobster

im mad to try make a lobster trap and leave at 1 of my spots for a day or so and see if i can get a tasty dinner did any1 ever try if so wat method or bait did you use and how long would you leave it there

Your pob better buying a pot. Its prob gonna work out cheaper. You pick em up for €30 r so. If u havent made one befor its kinda tricky. Use pollock r something like that for bait and leave it to soak for 24 hrs r so.

Is anyone allowed just put lobster pots in the ocean, or does it require some sort of license?

I'd go to your nearest harbour and see what the pot men are bringing in ,where I am they don't seem to bring in much ,at least you can see if its worth the effort
