Heading down spiddal way on the August bank holiday, and not wanting to trail the boat, was thinking about some charter boat, or lrf in or around spiddal,
Any advice or recommendation would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

best skipper there by far is Kevin MacGabhann, 43FT Aquastar "Maighdean Mara"

LRF everywhere from the pier, the rocks around the harbour wall or the rocks at the end of the strand.

I'll second what Martin has said. I have been out with Kevin several times and he has always put us on fish. I would highly recommend him.
As for the lrf, Martin is bang on the money again. I have caught a good spread of species in around the areas mentioned.
