People:Myself & Skelly
Duration:9-12 pm
Tide:Rising with a slight surf
Weather: Fine with a touch of South East wind
Bait: fresh Lugworm
Rigs: 2 hook flappers
Results: 2 Flounder and a Whiting
Report: Was at the beach early in the day and the surf looked very Bassy.
So gave Skell a bell and we hit the beach about 8ish in the evening.
Nice bit of surf still rolling in gave us confidence we might connect with a Bass or 2.
First cast produced a flounder about 25 cms.
Next cast , another flounder of 27 cms.
As the tide rose the surf diminished, along with our chances of a Bass.
Just before we packed up Skell had a whiting to save the blank.
All in all nice evening to be out, might head back this evening if the surf keeps rolling.

Hard luck with the Bass mate but at least you got something. That area always throws up a couple of big fish every year
