Doggie dog world

#1 Post by anthony byrne »

Well folks the plan was to meet Macker and Gary in Wicklow on Friday and fish for the hounds but unfortunately mother nature had different plans :( . I got there about 6.30 to find the southerly was whipping up the waves. I hung around for 20 mins decided whether just to launch or not but safety first. I rang Macker and we decided to change venue to launch in Wicklow Harbour. A quick message to Gary and I was on my way. Sure enough around Wicklow Harbour was fairly calm and definitely do able. We werent long gearing up and on the water which then Gary followed us. I was straight into a Whiting

I then dropped anchor and stayed put for the next few hours. Macker headed further out and Gary was just out for a paddle. It was a lively few hours producing around 20 Dogfish and the 1 Whiting.

All these Dogfish gave me a chance to test my new camera angle
