#1 Post by lad123 »

Thinking of heading down to Kilmore Quay this weekend as i didnt get out last week. Would I get anything spinning lures or feathers from the pier or would I be better off trying the beach or would I be better heading to a different location. Would love to try get wrasse , any good marks around wexford for wrasse :?:
Thanks very much in advance

If you are staying around kilmore you could head down to carnsore point and fish at the very left hand side of the beach. Wrasse from a beach is deadly, makes a change from the usual vertical type fishing done in hook head! Good bass along that beach too! Very deep water mark!!!! Hounds are showing in rosslare too! Crab being best but you could pick them up on any spare rag u have left! Rosslare strand an hour and a half before the high on a night tide can be deadly! Wouldn't bother if they are day tides tho stick with the wrasse! Hope that helps bud!
