Help needed Galway

#1 Post by eyesreilly »

Hi lads, heading to Galway this weekend, Friday 21st till Sunday 23rd, with a couple of non fishing friends . Now I know the weather is not looking good, unfortunately  , but I was thinking of bringing the rods in case we get a chance to nab a fish or two. This would give me the chance to get these guys in a very unfamiliar situation and give me good future slagging material  and hopefully also have the added benefit of stopping me from getting an unmerciful hangover  , though I suppose I might have to accept the inevitable . Any help re marks/tactics in the area Galway city and environs would be appreciated , preferably handy as there are a few princesses among them but don't tell them I told you  . All info re this weekend will be strictly confidential,,,,including fishing tips    Thanks lads
p.s. I'll also take recommendations for pubs, music venues ,,,,,these will not be kept confidential
