East Cork Beach

I have to go to Cork tomorrow and was thinking of packing a beach rod and picking up some sandeels to try for a Ray tomorrow eve on Garryvoe/Ballycotton area. Can anyone let me know if I'd be wasting my time, or suggest another venue that might produce. I'll only have a couple of hours, and it will be daytime fishing. PMs welcome. Thanks in advance!

Garryvoe would be a night venue never had much in day light off that beach.

did garryvoe last week and not so much as a bite. was early afternoon so next time will try night.

All the Garryvoe beaches are from dusk into night fishing only
