Report:decent days fishing at ballycastle

best fish caught fell to guy on next rock to me a pollack of 5-6lb

most fish fell for dark jelly worm with a red or pink tail.
on the way home called in to cushendun which was very poor which was maybe due to trawlers towing that day across the bay

. best bite came as we were walking along the beach in a semi bored state when i got a shout that there was something on my rod thrashing about , it looked like a dog double shot or else a cracking fish only to end up as a small black + white type of diving duck tangled up in my line

which when beached crapped out about 20 sandeels so in the end we had plenty of bait
thanks to davy +ronald for the mark
