Cliffden Bait

#1 Post by basshunter10 »

Could anyone let me know if there is a decent shop in cliffden to buy bait or a good mark to dig, heading down this weekend and would rather buy/dig it down there then having to worry about it in the car for the trip down, Thanks lads.

hi mate ye there is a shop in clifden not sure of the name of it but it is a big, outdoor clothes shop , campking, walking, fishing, he has good lot of fishing tackle plus alot of bait,, ie,sandell, squid, mackeral and frozen lug but not sure about live bait,, he is also very cheap, and the sandells are top notch.. although if you are fishing around clifden all you will need is fish baits and sandell.... will try and get a number for you would be woth while ringing him first....

alternatively, give duffy's a call, it's in galway city, but easy to park near/ stick on the hazards and get someone to run across the street to..

they do most frozen baits. clifden is only an hour or so away so you don't need to worry bout cooking the sandeel on the drive cross country =D
